Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 July 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of DoMyMeals (the “Service”). By creating an account, accepting these Terms during sign-up, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
DoMyMeals is software that generates weekly meal plans from information you provide — such as your age, health conditions, medications, allergies, region, household and daily routine — and runs those plans through an automated clinical safety engine intended to flag potential condition- and medication-related concerns. The Service is a planning and information tool. It does not provide medical care, diagnosis or treatment.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. To help protect accounts, the Service hashes passwords, temporarily locks accounts after repeated failed sign-in attempts, and uses signed session cookies.
5. Practitioners and members
The Service supports two kinds of account:
- Practitioners — qualified professionals who use the Service within a clinic to build and review plans for the members assigned to them.
- Members — individuals who use the Service for their own diet planning, either with a practitioner or on their own.
6. Plan paths: practitioner-guided and self-serve
Members may self-register and choose how their weekly plan is built:
- Practitioner-guided — a qualified practitioner reviews your details and builds a plan for you.
- Self-serve (DIY) — the Service generates a plan directly from your profile, without practitioner review. If you choose this path you acknowledge the additional risk and accept responsibility for deciding to proceed without professional oversight, particularly if you have a medical condition, take medication or are pregnant.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: use the Service unlawfully or for anyone other than yourself (unless you are a practitioner acting for assigned members); attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; interfere with or disrupt the Service; reverse engineer, scrape or copy the Service except as permitted by law; or upload content that is false, harmful or infringes the rights of others.
8. Not a substitute for professional medical advice
The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition, your medications or changes to your diet. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something the Service produced. The automated safety engine reduces but does not eliminate risk. See our Medical Disclaimer for more.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any plan it produces is suitable for your individual circumstances.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoMyMeals and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of health, data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, food and recipe catalogue, safety policies and branding, is owned by DoMyMeals or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Your own profile data remains yours.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we must do so to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, warranty disclaimers and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and the courts of [jurisdiction] will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
