Nutrition-planning software, not medical care
DoMyMeals is nutrition-planning software. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not create a doctor–patient, dietitian–client or any other professional relationship. The plans and information it produces are for general planning purposes only.
Always consult a qualified professional
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before changing your diet — especially if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of disordered eating. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read or received through DoMyMeals.
The safety engine reduces, but does not eliminate, risk
DoMyMeals runs plans through an automated clinical safety engine that checks for condition- and medication-related concerns. This engine reduces but does not eliminate risk. It cannot account for every aspect of your individual health, and it may not catch every interaction or contraindication. Automated checks are not a replacement for the judgement of a qualified professional.
Self-serve (DIY) plans have no practitioner review
If you choose the self-serve (DIY) path, DoMyMeals generates your plan without review by a practitioner. You accept responsibility for the decision to proceed without professional oversight. A practitioner-guided plan is safer, especially if you have any health condition, and you can switch to a practitioner at any time.
Some conditions are not auto-planned
Certain circumstances require specialist clinical care and are not eligible for automated planning. These include, for example, active cancer treatment and eating disorders. Where these are indicated, DoMyMeals routes you toward specialist care rather than generating a plan automatically.
In an emergency
DoMyMeals is not designed for emergencies and does not provide urgent or crisis support. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
